Did you know that your homeowners insurance policy does not cover your snowmobile or snowmobile trailer against liability or property damage? If you injure someone with your snowmobile your homeowners' policy will not defend you or pay the claimant’s damages. Traditionally your snowmobile trailer is not covered by your autoinsurance policy but it can be added to your Snowmobile Insurancepolicy for as little as 10 per month with most major insurance policies. Proof of snowmobile insurance is required to register a snowmobile in most jurisdictions. Select a level of coverage that you desire, liability coverage is required for registration and to to ride on most managed trail systems.
